International Businesses Look To North West For Commercial Property

In the past, internationally companies who are looking to set up a UK office have automatically looked to London. The capital city does have a long history of providing a UK base for many global companies. However, in the past few years, more businesses are looking outside of London to other UK cities and demand for commercial property and office space is beginning to rise. The cost of commercial property in London is very expensive, often as much as double the cost of renting in a smaller city which is why businesses are increasingly turning to other cities in an effort to keep costs to a minimum.

One area which has seen a rapid increase in demand for commercial property is the North West of England. Cities such as Manchester and Liverpool. The North West is becoming increasingly popular thanks to a huge selection of commercial properties available to let and strong transport links.

Manchester is the most high profile city in the North West of England and it is home to businesses spanning a large spectrum of different industries. The city enjoys a good rail network and as a result office buildings around the city are proving to be extremely popular. The city also has an international airport making it much more appealing to international businesses, especially those based in Europe.

Liverpool is the other major city in the North West and can offer a wide choice of commercial property including two purpose built business parks. While Liverpool is smaller than Manchester, it is actually more densely populated and has not only an airport, but also one of the UK's largest ports making it a perfect location for any business involved in export.

The North West of England is quickly proving that when it comes to UK commercial property, it pays to look outside of London as there are plenty of locations which can offer just as much to any business choosing to establish a UK base in the area.
